It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Carolyn Bost Miller of Gold Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oren John "OJ" Bost and Stella Sides Bost; her husband David Richard Miller; and her siblings, Banks Oren Bost (Roanna) and Lucille Ophelia Vanhoy (Everette).

She is survived by : her daughter Angela Carole Miller; her brother Oscar Bost (Daisy); her nephew Rick Vanhoy (Crystal); her great-nieces, Courtney Garrett (Keith) and Hillary Absher (Travis); her nephew Mike Vanhoy (Carolyn); her great-niece Jana Hartsell (Josh); her great-nephews, Neil McCaskill (Lauren) and Alec McCaskill; and also, Payton, Tatum, Luke, Eli, Georgia, Everly, Lane, Laura, Lisa and Jamie.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Powles Staton Funeral Home (913 W Main St, Rockwell, NC 28138). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Gold Hill Wesleyan Church (830 Liberty Rd, Gold Hill, NC 28071).
