It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alene Vivian Childers (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on November 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Childers; her children, Teresa Stallings (Keith), Gary Childers (Elizabeth), Karen Todd (Richard), Sharon McGary and Warren Childers (Patti); her grandchildren, Sarah Childers Sapp (Eric), Aaron McGary, Carl Joseph Childers, Angela Chapin (Jonathan), Vivian Childers, Judy Miller (Dylan), Joyce Grokowsky (David), Zackary Childers and Paige Childers; and her great grandchild Ella Chapin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
