Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Acree (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Spencer, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 90, on January 13, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brady Reed Sr. and Ruth Price Reed; and her siblings, William Brady Reed Jr., Rita Vaughn and Dee Meadows.
She is survived by: her sons, John Acree of Yucheng, Steve Acree of Columbus and Mike Acree (Cyndi) of Goldsboro; her brother Bob Reed of Hoboken; her grandchildren, Mitch Vernazza (Randa), Cora Proctor (Brad), Ellen Acree (Brian O'Malley), Kevin Acree (Brittany) and Erin Fonseca (Felipe); and her great grandchildren, Nathan Mumax, Austin Vernazza, Lucille Vernazza, Danica Proctor, Harper Anne Acree, Hampton Acree and John Owen Fonseca.
Memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, North Carolina.
