With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Jean Hardesty (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billie Jean Hardesty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Lamar Moody and Ruby Zulene Deaver Moody; her husband Andrew Dudley Hardesty; and her daughter Gina Louise Coor. She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Coor Casey (Eddie) of Goldsboro and Sara S. Hardesty of Clayton; her granddaughter Megan Lynn Casey; and her friend Earl Blizzard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to the Backpack Buddy Program at the Wayne School of Engineering in Goldsboro or please do a kind act for a child with Billie in mind.
