She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Gray and Imlay Stancil Gray; and her husband Bobby Lee Thornton. She is survived by: her pet Lucy; her daughters, Jennifer Massey (Jim) of Goldsboro and Cyndi Thornton (Chad DeRosa) of Goldsboro; her brother C. H. Gray (Sara) of Wake Forest; and her grandchildren, Deja Mooring, Emmie Swindell, Sierra Massey and Aren Massey.
