It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Maxon Lancaster (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wesley Lancaster and Patsy Mae Howell Lancaster; his siblings, N. W. Lancaster, Marlene Lancaster and Peggy Gurley; and his son Johnny Gurley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda F. Lancaster; his daughter Christy Lancaster Hales (Mike); his sisters, Ann Evans and Priscilla Head; his nieces, Terry Radford and Donna Mozingo; and his friend Don Musgrave. He is also survived by his three granddaughters.
