He is survived by: his children, Donald Ray Israel, David Lucas, Jr. and Kisa Ann Lucas of Wilson, NC.; and his sisters, Ella Ward (Thomas), Mollie Ann Edwards, Dolleen Sanders, Shirley Sanders, Linda Spells (Dennis) and Denise Jarmon (Larry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, close friends.
