He was predeceased by: his siblings, Clifford Callis, Gaston Callis, James Meador and Eloise Land. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stringer Callis; his sons, Michael Callis (Kim) of Oklahoma City, Okla, Greg Callis (Liz) of Morrisville and Steven Callis (Jonjie) of Napa, Calif.; his siblings, Tommie Sue Cogle of Marion Junction, Ala. and Morris Meador of Fairhope, Ala.; his grandchildren, Hayley Duque (Brian), Sydney Callis, Robby Callis (Danielle) and Kaitlyn Gardner (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Clark Michael, Brooks Thomas and Levi David.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Adamsville Baptist Church, 1302 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro, NC 27534.
