It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Denver R. Mitchell (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 29, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd M. Mitchell and Lola Estelle Dail Mitchell; and his wife Mary Lancaster Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Denver Mitchell, Marilyn Jo Johnson (Don) of Charlotte and Marsha Mitchell Hamilton (Ray) of Goldsboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
