He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Daniels and Edna Daniels; his son Demetrius Hutchinson; and his siblings, Molly Piggee, Edna Wood (Baba), Percy Scott, Robert Barber and Harriett Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Christie Huynh Daniels; his children, Donald Daniels Jr., Gwone Walters, Lakita Hutchinson, Derrell Daniels, Corlena Daniels, Grace Huynh, Melody Daniels and Ariel Daniels; his grandchildren, Genesis Walters, Sophia Hutchinson, Isaiah Rollinson and Cali Richardson; and his siblings, Jean Barber, Marie Jenkins, Sarah Daniels and Harry Daniels.
