She was predeceased by: her sisters, Andrea Santos and Louise Vanorman. She is survived by: her husband David William Cardin; and her children, Joseph Cardin (Karen) of St. Louis, Earl Cardin (Karen) of New York, Anthony Cardin of New York, David Cardin, Jr. of Goldsboro, Darlene Holmes (Archie) of Virginia and Vanessa Cardin of Edenton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
