He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Lancaster and Jessie Lancaster; his son Earl Lancaster; his grandson Mark Edward Mooring; and his siblings, Marie Vinson, Dorothy Barnes, Laura Griffith and Tommie Lancaster, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Delores Mooring (Ronald) of Morehead City and Carl Lancaster (Robbie) of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, Kevin Whitfield, David Lancaster (Laura), Michelle Hill (Ron), Leslie Lancaster, Jesse Lancaster (Heather), Nolan Lancaster and Lee Anna Lancaster. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in his memory to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1882 Hood Swamp Road, LaGrange, NC 28551.
