We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2020, at the age of 85, Edward Lee Wiggs (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Wiggs and Ophellia Braswell Wiggs; and his daughter Karen Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Frances Hardison Wiggs; his children, Eddie Wiggs (Kelly) and Jenny Thompson (Eric); his stepsons, Gregory Hare (Jackie) and Jimmy Hare (Becky); his brother Leamon Wiggs (Sylvia); his grandchildren, Sarah Wiggs, Lauren Wiggs, Katharine Wiggs, Jude Langley, Betsy Wiggs, Ryan Worley, Collin Worley, Connor Worley, Shane Ellis (Hart), Alexis Spence (Matt), Jessica Pate (Adam) and Matthew Hare; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Spence, Nolan Spence, Lainey Pate and Emma Grace Ellis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial be given in his memory to Nahunta Friends Meeting, 2537 Hwy. 581 North, Pikeville, NC 27863 or to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
