We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2018, at the age of 75, Edward Lyles Martin Jr. (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Christy Bateman Martin; his sons, Edward Lyles Martin III (Elise) of Nova Scotia and David Martin (Yvonne) of Goldsboro; and his siblings, Betty Reece (Ken) of Abbeville, SC and Robert Francis Martin (Ubol) of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Mark Quick, Matthew Quick, Wesley Quick and Niko Martin and great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Community Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 1064, Goldsboro, NC 27533.
