It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Lancaster Evans (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Lancaster and Hattie Pope Lancaster; her son Christopher Edwin Lewis; her brother Donald E Lancaster; and her sister-in-law Jean Lancaster.
She is survived by: her children, William Raymond Lewis (Janet Denise Lewis) of Pikeville, David Keith Lewis of Pikeville and Kimberly Dawn Williams (Chad) of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Chris Bass, Breanna Lauren Bass, Billie Jean Lewis and Brandi Williams; and her brother Gerald James Lancaster of Pikeville. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Due to covid-19, there will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1603 Edgerton Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
