He is survived by: his wife Janet Naylor Barefoot Harrell; his children, John Harrell (Sheila) of Goldsboro, Jim Harrell (Beverly) of Goldsboro, Jenny Hardee (Glenn) of Kinston, Paul Harrell (Marie) of Lexington, SC and Ann Barnes; his friend Joseph Alford of Washington; his stepchildren, Thomas Barefoot (Minda) of High Point and Joni Alford (Forest) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, David Harrell, Jena Kivett, Lauren Chandler, Jim Bish, Scott Harrell, Daniel Harrell, Laken Barnes, Thomas Barnes, Claire Barnes, Grace Harrell and Elsie Harrell; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Alford, Meagan Collins, Josh Alford, Andrew Barefoot, Ashley Sullivan, Haley Warren and Kayla McCurry; his great grandchildren, Caydence Williams, Corynn Williams, Landon Williams, Kayla Williams, Skyla Williams, Chase Williams, Griffin Williams, Logan Williams, Cylus Williams, Brayden Williams and Bree Ann Williams; and his child West Faris Road of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
