He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Spruill and Pennie Spruill; and his siblings, Nathaniel Spruill, Nettie B. Spruill Newsome and Geraldine Spruill Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Mervin Spruill; his children, Telly Savalas Spruill and Tennille Marie Spruill; his grandchildren, Marquise Deontae Spruill, TaLiyah Chae, Newsome, Natassia Monee, Tamarcus Tyrek Jones, Antwan Tyrese Coley, Nashawn Leontae Coley and Triniti Leigh Spruill; his great grandchildren, Messiah Andrew Faison and Ma'Kiah Monee; his sister Ruth Spruill Jones; and his sister-in-law Delia Artis Spruill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
