She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Witherington and Vera Witherington; and her husband James Leo Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, Don Russell Johnson of Charlotte and James Gerald Johnson of Bells Island; and her sisters, Mable Lane of Dudley and Leona Davis of Dudley. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
