She is survived by: her children, Keith Perara of Raleigh, NC, Kevin Perara of Hampton, VA, Robert H. Perara Jr. (Lori) of Greensboro, Mary Perara of Odenton, MD and Margaret Perara of Goldsboro, NC; her grandchildren, Jason, Tiffany, Kayla, Adantre' and Samantha; her sister Norma Elaine Goudy of Madison, AL; her aunts, Mildred L. Lewis and Bertha M. (Rollie J. Paul Jr); her sibling's children, Margaret, Tanya, Mildred, Yvonne, LaTrivia, Tiffany, James, Allen, Robert and Joshua; and her close friends, Pearline Fitch, Dave, Hattie Harris, Ann Keller, Elder Doris Langston, Jim and Nancy Moore. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
