He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd T. Sutton and La Muriel Sutton. He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Forsythe (Bob) of Goldsboro and Lily Sutton (Donnie Ray Lucas) of Goldsboro; his nieces, Donna Rose Herring (Frankie) and Carolyn Rose Seed (Eli); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, J. T. Bryan, Morgan, Paige, Daniel Herring, Isabel, Flora and Ward Seed.
