With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Kirkland (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on April 10, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Coleman Kirkland; his children, Donna Andrews (Peter) of Willow Springs and William Kirkland (Cindy) of Fort Wayne, IN; his siblings, Barbara Jean Clark of Tampa, FL and Ira "Claude" Kirkland (Carolyn) of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Ashley Boyd (Chris), Kyle Hankins, Justin Hankins (Brittany), Ashley Andrews, Ally Andrews, Kristin Galler (Charles), Lauren Adams (Chip) and Erin Hitt (Ryan).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Frank's memory to First Baptist Church, 125 S. John Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
