It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Clark Corbett (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Corbett and Clara Corbett; his wife Mary Elizabeth "Joy" Corbett; and his siblings, Alton Corbett, Judith Corbett, Esther Mae Stewart, Bernice Corbett, Edna DuBois, Norma Weaver and Janet Price.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Corbett (Nancy) of Goldsboro, NC and Michelle Jordan (David) of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Clark Poston of Rexburg, Morgan Paige (Jake) of Layton, Lauren Corbett of Wilmington, NC, Katherine Collins (Grady) of Goldsboro, NC, Jordan Corbett of Goldsboro, NC, Connor Poston of Asheville, NC and Chloe Poston of Asheville, NC.; and his siblings, Gene Corbett of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Gordon Corbett (Jolene) of Walhalla, SC and Linda Edwards (Ronald) of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
