She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wiley Forehand and Maggie Davis Forehand. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Martin (Sharon) of Pikeville; her grandsons, Corey Martin (Marie) of Morrisville and Zachary Martin (Katie) of Pikeville; her great grandchildren, Avalee, Charlee Ann and Nolan; and her sisters, Gladys Goff, Louise Daw, Margie Daw (Rayburn), Chris Grimes, Juanita Bass (Billy), Atha Howell (Cleatus) and Tomi Harris (Larry). She is also survived by friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gatha requested no flowers and in her memory memorials may be given to Pikeville PFWB Church, P. O. Box 910, Pikeville, NC 27863.
