She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hines and Mary Hobbs Hines; her husband Willie Taylor; her brother Herbert Hines; and her grandson Quincy Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Alvin Hines (Adneta) of Goldsboro and Patricia Pittman (James) of Goldsboro. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
