George Herman Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2019, at the age of 85, George Herman Porter (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Porter and Sara Lee Porter (Westbrook); and his sister Abbie Jean Poole (Porter). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Porter Burnette (Larry Burnette) of Wilson and Lisa Porter Dismore (Mike Dismore) of Dudley; his grandchildren, Karry Burnette Grady (Buddy Grady) of Mt. Olive, Lawrence Burnette III of Wilson, Alexandria Freeman of Boone and Jonathan Freeman of Garner; his great grandchild Jameson Grady of Mt. Olive; and his siblings, Ray Porter (Sandy Woodard Porter) of Rosewood and Mary Ellen Porter McDonald (Robert McDonald) of Goldsboro.
