It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Capps Johnson (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 21, 2000, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Lawton Walker Johnson; her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Alice Johnson; her sister Lillie (John); and also, Katherine Burnette Johnson and Debra "Debbie" Lynn Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
