He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey William Turnage Jr. and Patricia Hughes Turnage. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Calloway (Chip) of Alexandria, VA; his nephews, Christopher Calloway (Emily) and Charles Calloway (Madison); and his aunt Lou. He is also survived by 3 great-nieces and a great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Harvey's memory to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, 450 West Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
