She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Hewett and Sarah Leonard Hewett; and her husband Cleatus Howell. She is survived by: her children, Cleatus D. Howell (Atha) of Goldsboro, Danny H. Howell (Lesia) of Rural Hall, NC, Nancy H. Robinson of Goldsboro and Wanda H. Davies (Nigel) of Texas; her sister Charlotte H. McAfee of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Darrell Howell (Lauren), Dan Howell, Reggie Howell, Robbie Robinson (Karen), Cathy Ingram and Laurel Davies; her great grandchildren, Mindy Hodgin (George), Austin Howell, Ashley Howell and Tyler Howell; and her great great grandchildren, L. J. Godinez and Hazel Hodgin.
