She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anderson Davis and Mary Louise Woodard Davis; her husband John David Powell; and her children, Philip G. Sutton and Marilyn Connelly.
She is survived by: her children, Micah S. Sutton, Timothy O. Sutton (Angie), Sharon J. Sutton and Judy H. Walker. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
