He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harris and Rachael Young Harris; and his siblings, Alex Harris and Victoria Greenwood. He is survived by: his wife Hermanita V. Harris; his children, Alex Jordan Harris of Goldsboro and Gena Marie Harris of Goldsboro; and his brothers, Will Harris (Joyce) of Chicago, Leroy Harris (Sharon) of Chicago and Habel Harris (Susanna) of Chicago. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1608 E. Pine St., Goldsboro, NC.
