Ida Sessoms Johnson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Sessoms Johnson (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Sessoms and Cherrie Faircloth Sessoms; and her siblings, John Wesley Sessoms, Jr. and Ethel Sessoms Butler. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Martin Johnson; her children, LaGray Marks (Charlie) of Oak Ridge, JoAnn Bryan (Mark) of Sleepy Creek and Martin Johnson (Rhonda) of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Mark Bryan (Amy), Matthew Bryan, Ryan Marks (Sandra), Christopher Marks (Emily), Bradley Johnson (Amanda) and Colby Johnson (Brooke); and her siblings, Lal D. Sessoms and Idella Pope. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Ida's memory to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1100.
