She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Bridgers and Pearl Rhodes Bridgers; her spouse Calbert Perkins; and her brother Ralph Bridgers. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Keen (Steve), Calbert Lee Perkins Sr. (Sheri) and Beth Carr (Alan); her grandchildren, Calbert L. Perkins, Jr. (Jennifer), Melissa Capps (Nicholas), Jessica Griffith (Caleb), Blair Barnes (Josh), Adam Keen (Casey), Emily Waddell (Joel) and Taylor Carr (Summer); and her great grandchildren, Adair, Keller, Preston, Campbell, Brady, Josie, Josiah, Judah, Justice, Asher, Callie, Carlee and Lilly Faith. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to 3HC – Hospice Care, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
