It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Best Neal Thomas (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Patrick and Mildred Brogden Best; her brother Jimmy E. Best; her husband Walter Thomas; and the father of her children Donald C. Neal, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Renee'; her son-in-law Ricky Parrish; her son Don; her daughter-in-law Joann Neal; her daughter Drs; her grandchildren, Steven Parrish (Jennifer), Bliss Jackson (Josh), Olivia Neal, Brooke Freeman (Kenneth), Savannah Barlow, Scarlett Barlow and Shelby Barlow; her great grandchildren, Martin Parrish, Marley Parrish, Paris Jackson, Dallas Jackson, Easton Jackson and Joanna Freeman; and her brother Thomas Walter Best (Robert Snyder).
Attendees are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Rosewood First Baptist Church or the Word Church.
