He was predeceased by: his father Robert Marion Ellison; and his sister Wanda Mullane. He is survived by: his mother Lydia Shuping of Greensboro; his wife Sandra Ellison; his daughter Megan Williams of Goldsboro; his siblings, Robert Ellison Jr. of South Carolina and Helen Collins (Lindo) of Liberty, NC; his brother-in-law Kevin Mullane of Florida; and his grandson Nathaniel Freedman.
Due to COVID-19, a service will be held at a later date.
