James Irving Hood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Irving Hood (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 2, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Hood and Emma Rose Hood; and his siblings, Durwood, Gordon, Joe Dan, Horace, Jean Hood, Agnes Harrell and Elizabeth Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Trudy Hinson, Jimmy Hood (Rita), Grover Hood (Teresa), Linda Overton (Daryll) and Glenn Hood (Betsy); and his siblings, Manfred Hood (Delores) of Goldsboro and Ruth Bennett of Goldsboro. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
