Janice Strickland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Strickland of Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Worley and Laura Pilkington Worley; her husband John Dorsey Strickland; and her brothers, Kirby Worley and Marion Glenn Worley.
She is survived by: her sons, John Dorsey Strickland Jr. (Jackie) of Goldsboro and Jeffrey Wayne Strickland (Debra) of Banner Elk, NC; her sister-in-law Janice Worley of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Pamela Grady (Bennie), April Esposito (Ken), Heather Scott (Michael), Amanda Strickland (Rory Bale) and Brian Kornegay (Abby); and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Seth Phillips, John, Matthew Scott, Ace and Angelena Esposito.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church or the NC Troopers Association Caisson Unit.
