She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Teachey and Ola Sewell Teachey; her husband Dr. Thomas Boykin; and her sister Carol T. Hebert. She is survived by: her daughter Shawn Boykin Moncure; her son-in-law Richard; her son Cord Steeves Boykin; her daughter-in-law Stella; her close friend Aaron R. Williford; her grandchildren, Bram Clayton Moncure and Korie Bailey Boykin; her brother Ronnie K. Teachey (Linda); her stepgranddaughters, Mallory Maden and Mary Ashley Maden; her niece Terry Carter; and her nephews, Paul Teachey and Robert Hebert. She is also survived by one great niece and two great nephews.
