He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Ethel Mae Daniels Lee; his daughters, Barbara Jean Lee and Wanda Kay Lee Pollock (Ronnie); his siblings, Walter Lee, Judy Fields and Edna Hill; and his grandson Anthony Pollock.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Brown Lee; his children, Jimmy Ray Lee (Sherry Lynn) of Goldsboro and Jennifer Lee Bethea (Doug) of LaGrange; his siblings, Bill Lee of Goldsboro, Larry Lee of Dunn, Jerry Lee of Goldsboro, Mike Lee of Goldsboro, Jane Patton of Goldsboro, Linda Gurley of Goldsboro, Rebecca Gray of LaGrange, Janice Taylor of LaGrange, Peggy Denning of Dudley and Betty Lee of Kinston; and his grandchildren, Starla Johnson (Joshua), Austin Uzzell, Katie Bethea, Ryan Bethea, Chassidy Lee, Justin Lee, Matt Lee, Dylan Pollock and Jessica Pollock. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
