He is survived by: his close friend Samantha Davis (Rodney); his granddaughter Brianna Baker (Brett) of Fremont; his siblings, Janice Raynor (Richard) of Wilson Mills and Jerry W. Adams of Smithfield; his stepdaughter Ronni Davidson of Louisiana; his aunt Ola Jean Wilkins of Smithfield; his uncle Henry Barnes of High Point; his children, Amanda Adams of Kenly, Jimmy Adams Jr. of Thomasville and Cindy of Thomasville; and also Rusty. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in his memory to any Veteran's organization that benefits suicide prevention.
