He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benjamin Nassef, Sr. and Edna Blackwell Nassef. He is survived by: his children, Amber Nicole "Niki" Miller (Mike) of Apex, Joseph Benjamin "Jody" Nassef, III (Anne) of Goldsboro and James Christopher "Jamey" Nassef (Lezlie) of Fort Myers, FL; his brother Robert Steven Nassef of Wilmington; and his significant other Sandra Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in Joe's memory to Wrestling Team at Rosewood High School, a program that he enjoyed being a part of.
