It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Carrel Hill (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 22, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Hill and Estelle Williams Hill; his wife Loretta Pender Hill; and his siblings, Edward Hill, Roger Hill, Grover Hill, David Hill, Clayton Hill, Douglas Hill, Letha Outlaw, Bonnie Herring, Marlene Boutwell, Frances Herring, Adeline Taylor and Alene Hill.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Robertson (Russell) of Pikeville; his brother Charles Hill (Cindy) of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Dawson Robertson, Hayden Robertson and Ryan Hubbard; his siblings, Violet Saviak (Mike), Tommie Hill (Dot) and Bill Hill (Darlene); and his sister-in-law Joyce Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in his memory to 3HC or Kitty Askins, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534 or to Pleasant Grove OFWB Church, P.O. Box 36, Pikeville, NC 27863.
