He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pat Austin; his daughters, Katie Watkins (Erik) of Sylva and Emily Austin (Chris Clavet) of Fletcher; his parents, Darlene Austin and Joe Austin, Sr. (Willa); his siblings, Kim Davis, Maria Price and James Austin (Mi); and his brother-in-law Charlie Prentice (Molly).
