He was predeceased by: his parents, Nash Carlyle Sr. and Theatis Britt Israel; and his siblings, Nash Carlyle Israel, Jr. and Barbara Israel. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Mercer of Holiday, Dianna Bejma (Gerald) of Holiday and Alice Tucker (Butch) of Maine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
