He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jack Scott; and his brother Phil Overman. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Woodcock Overman; his daughters, Sharon O. Scott and Pamela O. Kneeshaw (Stacy Hale); his grandchildren, Pamela Jane Scott, Alan Scott, Samantha Kneeshaw and Heather Kneeshaw; his great grandchild Brantley Farmer; and his sisters, Rachel Gray (Ronnie) and Joyce Weathington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
