She was predeceased by: her father Giles Ray Gurganus. She is survived by: her mother Peggy Parks; her daughter Monica Arbuckle; her close friend David Grant; and her sisters, Yolanda Williams and Teresa Short. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
