He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Grady Pender; his children, Norwood Todd Pender (Stephanie) of Pikeville, Christi Pender Orr (Jason) of Goldsboro and Teresa Lynn Thompson Smith (Scott) of Goldsboro; his brothers, Danny Pender (Teresa) of Goldsboro and Wiley Pender (Debra) of Pikeville; his aunt Tenny Massey of Faison; his stepson Chris Jones of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Hayley Pender, Nate Pender, Ethan Pender, Lucas Orr, Blaine Orr and Spencer Riggs; and his nieces and nephews, J. W. Pender, Danielle Pender and Kyle Pender.
