She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ernest Swensin; and her daughter Laurie Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Joel Swenson of Goldsboro, Charlie Swenson of Alabama, Lou George of Utah and Linda Loyd of Alabama. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
