He is survived by: his wife Millie Jean McKiver; his daughters, Lakeisha Gardner (Michael Glenn) of Columbia, SC and Tameka Lee (Craig) of Dudley, NC; his grandchildren, Makayla Gardner and Amaya Gardner of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Onie Sykes of Newark, NJ, Penny Sykes of Newark, NJ, Warren McKiver (Patricia) of Albertson, NC, Jesse Sykes of Seven Springs, NC, Donnell Sykes of New Jersey, Chris Sykes of New Jersey and Joseph Sykes of New Jersey; his aunts, Janie Blue of Dudley, NC, Joyce Lacey of New Jersey, Ethel Carol Jones (Thurman) of Mt. Olive, NC and Tamar McKiver; and his uncle Willie McKiver of Pink Hill, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and other relatives and friends.
