It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Deans (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lawrence and Pauline Dail Wood; her husband Kenneth Rabon Deans; and her sister Patsy Page. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherrie Deans of Cary and Kim Deans of Lumberton; her siblings, David Wood, Charlie Wood of Arizona, Edna Smith of Goldsboro and Sara Strickland of Virginia; her grandchildren, Jason Kearney and Krist Kearney Florwick (Cris); and her great grandchildren, Tyler Kearney, Sarah Kearney, Emma Leduc and Olivia Florwick.
