It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Edward Davis (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 27, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Gardner Davis; his parents, Dillard Davis and Sadie Ferrell Davis; his sons, Leslie Edward Davis, Jr., Leslie Warren Davis and Leslie Darren Davis; and his siblings, Velda Davis Anderson, Rudolph Davis and Kenneth Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky M. Davis (Donna) of Pikeville, Ginny Davis Smith (David) of Wilmington and Robin Davis Aycock (Walton) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Jill Davis Gunter (Van), Timothy Davis (Stephanie), Hannah Aycock Niemasz (Jon), Jenna Aycock Sippy (Wyatt), Matthew Smith and Anna Grace Smith; his great grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Payton Gunter, Addison Gunter, Kyle Davis, Brennan Gunter, Gracelyn Niemasz, Everly Sippy and Asher Sippy; and his siblings, Linda Davis Smith, Ray Davis, Royce Davis, Connie Davis and Dearl Davis. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1100.
